We're always looking for signs, but on Sunday night after a great weekend at a friends wedding in Montauk, I walked into Duryea's while clinging to the last rays of summer even as the seasons changed to fall. Fittingly, I walked to the back and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets of the summer and this sign, THE END.
Much of my print work is created through diligent research and planning so that I can control as many uncontrollable factors as possible. One of the reasons why I love THE END so much is because the scene unfolded in front of me and the fact I was there and had my camera is complete coincidence. The symbolism that underpinned this print was also complete coincidence.
