My name is Chris Jeyes; born and raised in CT, but settled in Brooklyn because I enjoy the pizza, bagels and high-cost of living. I started my career in advertising before moving in-house to lead production for Land Rover. What started as just “bringing a camera to set,” eventually morphed into me photographing John Mayer for the re-launch of the iconic Defender model. Since then I’ve photographed Olympic Athletes, million-dollar race cars, professional BMX Riders, the most exclusive concours on the east coast and my mothers idol (Martha). I love what I do, and when I'm not being paid to shoot, I’m still shooting. My camera is a constant reminder to slow-down, look around and be present and my style is defined by aspirational realism - think documentary in nature, composed with an eye towards fine art. I have a wonderfully energetic red-headed one-year-old daughter and a Sicilian wife. My days are packed wall to wall but I wouldn't change it for the world.
